I believe it’s a responsibility to be thoughtful toward everything that enriches our lives, starting with nature and people.
There’s a small story in my family that has shaped how I see the world. Years ago, when a glass pane in our home broke, an elder in our family didn’t sweep the pieces away and replace it. Instead, they carefully collected the fragments and brought them to a glassmaker, asking to have it restored into a pane once again.
The glassmaker explained it would be difficult and costly, far easier to simply cut a new piece of glass in the same size. But my family elder insisted: this glass had served our home for years, and giving it a second life was, in a way, something we owed it.
That moment taught me to honor the right of all beings and even the objects we live alongside to exist with dignity. To move through life with respect for what we touch, remembering that nothing is truly “just a thing.” And to choose care and nourishment over thoughtless consumption.
When creating Gü Feeling, I held every detail through that lens. I believe small, conscious choices add up — and, over time, create a real impact.
